About me

Hello.  I am Mrs. Michelle Merritt, Special Education Teacher.  This is my 7th year at Learning Way Elementary and Bedford County Schools.  This is my 10th year teaching.  I have taught grades 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 7th.  This is my second year as a Special Education Teacher.  I have my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-8, and my Master's degree in Special Education K-12.  I enjoy working with all age groups.

 

I am married and have two adult boys.

 

I enjoy spending time with family, listening to music, and working in the garden.  My favorite color is black, but I enjoy the colors blue, red, purple, and pink.
