All About Me

Hello!  I am so excited to begin my 3rd year teaching 3rd grade at Learning Way!  I have been teaching for 21 years across various grade-levels.  Learning Way is my home and I am so lucky to be in such a fantastic school with awesome staff and students!   I have a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UT Chattanooga, where I graduated from in 2001.  I live in Estill Springs with my husband and two children, Jack (16) and Peyton (13).  We have four dogs and bunny, so our house is never boring.  I love football and am a lifelong fan of the Vols!  I enjoy reading and finding new ideas to use in my classroom.  I cannot wait to spend the year getting to know your children and helping them to find success!
