School Counseling Program
Vision
Mission
The mission of the school counseling program is to provide an environment that enables students to reach their maximum potential as a citizen by teaching them to be responsible, respectful, and ready. In partnership with administration, teachers, family, and other stakeholders, the school counseling program will serve the individual needs of students to ensure students experience safety both internally and externally by providing developmentally appropriate interventions and advocacy guided by the academic, personal/social, and career domains.

Services Provided
Classroom Lessons | Small Group Counseling |
Classroom school counseling lessons will address important preventative topics, including academic skills, empathy, conflict resolution, anger management, personal safety, career, and more.

Small groups provide learning experiences, giving the child the opportunity to build relationships, practice new skills, and learn through the support of group members. Small group topics vary widely and will be based on need. |
Individual Counseling | Consultation |
Individual counseling is offered on a short-term basis for a variety of students in the areas of personal/social issues, academic issues, and career issues.

Consultation sessions are available to teachers and parents to advocate for students and assist in behavior management. |
