About Me

Hi I'm Jessica Barnett and I teach third grade at Learning Way.

I'm an only child born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends when not at school. I love the beach and  ALL things leopard print!!

Teaching is my passion and I'm excited to begin a new, successful adventure this year!!

 

Education:

I attended school in my hometown of Jackson, Tennessee. I graduated from South Side High. From there I attended college at Union University where I received my Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies with K-8 endorsement. In addition I received my Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership and Curriculum from Tennessee Tech University.

 

Experience:

I began my teaching career in 2001. In 2009, I began teaching at Learning Way Elementary. I have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.
